F1 Heads to Sochi for the Russian Grand Prix

F1 Heads to Sochi for the Russian Grand Prix

September 27, 2019 Blog Editor

The Sochi circuit in Russia was added to the F1 Grand Prix calendar in 2014 and next year could be the last time we see this circuit in use. Other than the annual Grand Prix race, the track is rarely used and the area is set for redevelopment. A proposed concert hall will force the track to be shortened making it too short for Formula 1 racing. However, Russia still has a contract to hold a Grand Prix until 2025, so it’s looking likely that the race will be relocated to another circuit, quite pr

Of course we’re biased and will be cheering on Simon in the car with the SpeedyReg logo on it! Simon Webster has certainly done u

We met up with Historic Rally Driver Simon Webster and here’s what we Learnt…

September 27, 2019 Blog Editor

As you probably know, SpeedyReg sponsors historic rally driver Simon Webster and we were lucky enough to have a chat with him. We were interested to discover what sent Simon on his path to being a rally driver and he told us that his love of motor sport was passed down the family from his dad who had always been into karting and motor sport in general when Simon was young. Aged 14 Simon got a Saturday job at a local garage and the garage owner had his own rally cars and took a young Simon to wat

Worrying Weather Conditions for Singapore Grand Prix

September 20, 2019 Blog Editor

Since it was established in 2008, the Marina Bay Street Circuit used for the Singapore Grand Prix has come under criticism for being too difficult and somewhat dangerous. Drivers have commented that it’s twice as hard to drive as the iconic Monaco street circuit and it’s too bumpy with some high  kerbs. Of course any street circuit comes with extra dangers. You can’t move walls and buildings to make the track safer. Worst weather for 3 years But that’s not all, this year the Grand Prix c

Liam Gallagher Releases new Solo Album

Liam Gallagher Releases new Solo Album

September 19, 2019 Blog Editor

In 2017 Liam Gallagher released his first solo album, As You Were. The reviews were pretty good, I think everyone was surprised at just how accomplished this release actually was. It came into the charts at Number 1 and outsold the whole of the rest of the Top 10 combined. So we’ve all been waiting for another offering from Liam and now it’s here. Entitled Why Me? Why Not, it’s again distinctively Liam Gallagher, with some songs definitely having an Oasis feel to them which will no doubt please
