You could spend it catching up on the housework, or get on with that DIY job you've been putting off. The lawn probably needs mowing, and perhaps a trip to the supermarket is on the cards? Or how about you forget all the mundane jobs and do something fun instead? You've got a whole extra day to enjoy, so why not do something special? Make some memories with your family

Way-hey! It's Best Friends Day!
There's a big difference between a good friend and a Best Friend. A best friend is the first person you tell when you've got some good news. They're also the person you go to when you need a shoulder to cry on. That's because you just know you can depend on them, they're always there for you when you need them. A best friend will always lend a hand, even for the most boring of jobs. If you're moving house, they'll be there carrying boxes. If you're broken hearted, they'll cancel their hot

What Will You Be Reading on Book Lovers Day?
Are you a book lover? How do you like to read? Do you use an e-reader? Filling it up with thousands of books so you've got endless choice. It's a great invention. You can take a hundred books on holiday and not have to pay for an extra suitcase. But, I have to say, I do like a 'real' book myself. I think it has something to do with working on a computer screen all day. I don't want to spend my down time reading off a screen. Or maybe I'm just old fashioned? It's also less annoying if you lea

2017 Diesel Scrappage Scheme Will Go Ahead
The Government has announced that a scrappage scheme for diesel vehicles will be launched this year. In an attempt to reduce the numbers of diesel vehicles on our roads, it is thought that drivers will be offered up to £2000 for their old diesel vehicles when they opt to buy a vehicle that is better for the environment. Studies show that nitrogen oxides emitted by diesel cars contribute to 40,000 premature deaths in the UK every year. So this scheme will hopefully go some way towards tack

DVLA Website Confuses Classic Car Owners for 2 Years
For two years, the online DVLA information regarding black and white number plates has been incorrect and this has caused quite a bit of confusion for classic car owners! Two years ago the law was changed with regards to which vehicles can display the traditional black and white plates that were the standard before the modern type were brought in.
