Supporting Animals Worldwide on World Animal Day

World Animal Day began back in 1931 and takes place every year on October 4^th. The day brings people together to raise awareness of animal issues and helps to improve the welfare of animals across the globe. There are around 1000 events planned so look out for ways you can join in. Animal shelters are opening their doors to the public, there are talks, conferences and workshops, and animal blessing services. There’ll be fundraising events, raising money for animal charities and peaceful protests to raise awareness of particular animal issues.
