Barrie Barker, 58 has been jailed for parking parked cars with rude
number plates outside a former magistrate’s house as part of a campaign of harassment. He was sentenced for 12 months for breaching an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo).
For nine years
Mr and Mrs Roddis was subjected to abuse from Barker, which resulted in Mr Roddis suffering a nervous breakdown. The row began over cars on and around Barker’s home in the quiet cul-de-sac of Lund Close, Lundwood, Barnsley. Barker began parking cars in front of his him with the
number plates, R5 OUL and GRA 55R.
Barker then proceeded to smash Mr Roddis’ garden fence, shouted at them whenever they went out and even blocked their driveway. It was so bad that the couple had to install CCTV’s on their property as evidence against Barker.
