Police corporal Rodney Vawter has had his
personalised plate revoked by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles as it has been deemed offensive. His plate 0INK could be thought to be linked to the derogatory term for the police 'pig'. However Mr Vawter believes in freedom of speech and is keen to keep his plate and so he is suing the bureau. He has had this plate for three years, but it is only now that they have decided not to renew it.
