What you may not know is that you can pick up an Irish number plate for a very low price and it is completely legal to display these plates on any UK vehicle. The process for obtaining an Irish number plate is no more complicated than that for any other plate so you needn't worry about it taking too long or requiring a lot of extra paperwork.

Speedy Reg and here's the good news, you can pick up a plate for as little as £40! Irish number plates are shorter than the British plates so they look very desirable. As an example, CXZ, DXZ, MFZ, UUI, UJZ plates are all available for just £40.
You can also transfer an Irish plate onto any vehicle regardless of age, there are no restrictions, making it the perfect choice if you want to disguise the age of your vehicle. All Irish plates are dateless as the DVA have a different system to that which we're used to with the DVLA. You can put the plates on any vehicle, including motorbikes.
